The San Francisco Bay area is not only one of the most beautiful areas to fly,
but also offers tremendous training opportunities. With the busy San Francisco Airport
dominating the area, and Oakland International and San Jose International nearby,
the area can be intimidating to student pilots as well as to the experienced.
By circumnavigating the bay, with landings at Oakland, Hayward, Reid-Hillview,
Palo Alto, and San Carlos airports followed by a Class B transition through
SFO airspace, you will obtain the confidence and experience to handle busy
airspaces and deal with air traffic control effectively.
